Travel tips: airport and railway stations

Airport

Pulkovo is well-connected to the many European cities with regular direct fligts to Riga, Paris, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Munich, Brussel, Frankfurt-on-Main, Zurich, Vienna, Berlin, Prague, London, Dusseldorf, Stockholm, Milan, Rome, Hamburg among the others.

To get from the airport to the city you can use either bus or taxi.

Buses #39 and #39E are departing from the bus stop in front of the exit from the arriving hall. It takes about 20 minutes for them to bring you to metro station ‘Moskovskaja’ (Московская ). Bus cost is 40 rubles (about 0.5 euro), also for the large luggage you should pay 40 rubles more. You can pay by cash on board or even by card (but only if you card supports PayPass, so please, try to have some cash with you).

For taxi it takes 30-40 minutes to bring you to the city center (it can be a little bit more because of the traffic jams). NOTE! When you exit the arrival area, you might be attacked by illegal taxi drivers, who do not have licence and take more expensive fare than the official taxi!

If you decided to take the taxi, then use your favourite taxi app (for example, Я.Такси or Gett) or official Pulkovo Taxi (there is taxi counter in the arrival hall).
